Event: Thrive Alliance, Nuestra Casa, Climate Resilient Communities, & Rise South City's Climate Summit for San Mateo County
Description: Each year, Nuestra Casa, Climate Resilient Communities, Rise South City, and Thrive Alliance's collaboratively plan the Climate Summit for San Mateo County with the goal of highlighting the needs and voices of underrepresented communities that are confronting the uneven impacts of climate change. Our vision is that every person is San Mateo County and beyond breathes clean air, drinks clean water, lives in a healthy home, and is part of a disaster-resilient community in which their voice matters. The Summit is a venue to push for the policy change, cross-sector partnerships, and power shifting necessary to achieve this vision.
