  • Description:  The CSM Jazz Festival continues its historic tradition of hosting living jazz legends with this year’s special guest Pasquale Grasso, who will join our CSM Concert Jazz Ensemble for a noontime concert. The concert celebrates Bud Powell’s centennial birthday with the best living interpreters and arrangers of his music. The festival also boasts a rich roster of jazz bands from Bay Area middle and high schools, who receive professional coaching from local music professionals. CSM is proud to partner with multiple schools across the Peninsula to bring this incredible festival to life.
