SMC Economic Roundtable Discussion: Getting Back to Work: New Models for Quality Jobs and Workforce Development
- Description: The September 1st Roundtable will feature new models of workforce development in the post-pandemic era. With a focus on equity, inclusion and "whole person" support, speakers will share their journeys and the services that helped propel their careers. Join this interactive session which will feature a new framework for workforce development designed by a group of community stakeholders and anchor institutions. These new models support the broader needs of the workforce while connecting and navigating workers and their families. The intent of these new models is to provide opportunities that will promote a higher quality of life for all those in the San Mateo County workforce.
