City of San Mateo’s Jerry Hill Honorary Street Ceremony

The City of San Mateo celebrated former State Senator Jerry Hill and his decades of dedicated public service as a California State Senator, San Mateo County Supervisor, Mayor, and City Council Member by unveiling an honorary street sign in his name.

Connect Bay Area’s Reception Event

Business and community leaders gathered at Connect Bay Area’s reception at Jacobs Engineering in San Francisco for an engaging conversation on the vital role transit plays in supporting a strong economy, connecting communities, and keeping the Bay Area moving forward. 

The event also highlighted the importance of fundraising for the Connect Bay Area campaign and building regional support for continued investment in a stronger, more connected transportation system.

Orchard Partners’ Quarry Innovation Center Project Tour

The site tour and discussion of the proposed Quarry Innovation Center (QIC) project in Brisbane provided regional stakeholders, community partners, and civic leaders with an opportunity to learn more about the project and its long-term vision. 

Attendees toured the existing Guadalupe Quarry operations and gained a deeper understanding of the site, while discussing the potential community and environmental benefits associated with the QIC proposal.

SamTrans’ Reimagine Dumbarton Stakeholder Working Group #2 Meeting

The Reimagine Dumbarton Stakeholder Working Group brought together regional partners to reflect on feedback gathered during the project’s first phase, which received more than 1,000 survey responses from community members throughout the corridor. 

Group members received a preview of draft outreach materials and provided valuable input to help shape the project’s next phase of community engagement ahead of its fall launch.

Working Waterfront Tour at Redwood High School

Business and community leaders toured the facilities at Redwood High School to learn more about the Working Waterfront Coalition’s initiatives and explore programs that provide hands-on training, career pathways, and opportunities in the industrial trades.

Fort Mason Night Market

The Fort Mason Night Market in San Francisco held its late night event at its the historic waterfront with shopping, dining, music, and community.
