SAMCEDA hosted an engaging in-person event with Rep. Sam Liccardo, who offered valuable federal-level insights and highlighted opportunities for the future.


Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center’s Holiday Night Market
The Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center’s Holiday Night Market offered a wonderful way for the community to start their holiday shopping while uplifting local small businesses.
Held at the CZI Community Space in Redwood City, the festive gathering featured an array of unique, handcrafted goods and created an inviting setting for entrepreneurs to share their work, engage with shoppers, and celebrate the spirit of the season.

Chinese American Association of Commerce’s Youth Leadership Summit
Attendees of Chinese American Association of Commerce's Mapping Your Success Youth Leadership Summit experienced an inspiring and energizing gathering designed to uplift emerging leaders at the Burlingame Community Center in Burlingame.
The free summit brought together high school seniors, college students, and young professionals, offering them meaningful guidance, mentorship, and practical insights into career development, leadership, and community involvement.

Daly City Colma Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Turkey Bowling Tournament
The Daly City Colma Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Turkey Bowling Tournament brought together local businesses and community members for a night of friendly competition at Classic Bowl in Daly City.

For the past 30 years, the California Report from KQED has delivered award-winning coverage of the people, stories, and cultural forces influencing the Golden State.
To commemorate its milestone anniversary, KQED Live held a special event to celebrate the program and its impact across California at its headquarters in San Francisco.

KQED’s Behind the Scene: DJs and Nightlife
At KQED’s headquarters in San Francisco, DJs and music professionals came together for KQED Live’s Behind the Scene: DJs and Nightlife to discuss music’s unifying power by sharing insights on how it strengthens communities and creates experiences and lasting connections that extend far beyond the dance floor.
After the discussion, attendees enjoyed a rooftop party for an evening of music and dancing.

KQED’s Pupusa Showdown
KQED Live’s Pupusa Showdown brought food lovers to KQED in San Francisco for an immersive celebration of Salvadoran cuisine.
The event featured a panel with Popoca, Panchitas, and Los Bayuncos where they into the cuisine’s rich heritage, cultural traditions, and essential ingredients.
Guests were treated to live cooking demonstrations from each panelist, followed by a tasting experience that allowed them to savor the flavors of the dishes showcased.

NOVAworks’ Work & Wine: Local Leadership for Economic Mobility
NOVAworks Launch Lab hosted a dynamic conversation that highlighted the power of local and state leadership to create pathways to opportunity, especially during times of uncertainty at the federal level.
Held at Rootstock Wine Bar in Mountain View, the panel discussion featured state, county, and city perspectives to discuss how local innovation and partnership can strengthen our region’s workforce and economy.

San Mateo County Veterans Commission’s 10th Annual Veterans Luncheon
For the 10th Annual Veterans Luncheon, the County of San Mateo's Veterans Commission honored local heroes who served at the Peninsula Italian American Social Club in San Mateo.
This year’s Keynote Speaker is Colonel and San Mateo County Superior Court Judge Michael K. Wendler and honorees included:
- Veteran of the Year - Michael William O’Brien
- Patriot of the Year - Surayna Spicer
- Enterprise Support Partner of the Year - Operation: Care and Comfort

Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame’s Induction Banquet
The Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame Banquet recognizes visionary alumni whose professional achievements and service reflect the excellence, integrity, and influence of Stanford Professionals in Real Estate (SPIRE).
This year’s event honorees included Sares Regis Group of Northern California’s Jeff Birdwell and GI Partner’s Rick Magnuson.

American Legion Post 105’s Veteran’s Day Ceremony
American Legion Post 105 proudly hosted its annual Veterans Day ceremony bringing the community together to honor and recognize the service and sacrifice of veterans from all branches of the United States military at Courthouse Square in Redwood City.
The patriotic event featured a classic car show, a toy drive to benefit local families, and various activities highlighting ongoing community support for veterans.


Google’s Roundtable Discussion
Google held a roundtable discussion focused on bridging policy and practice for California's economy with their Global Head of Ads Ecosystem and Safety, Betsy Annen, and business leaders at their office in Sunnyvale.
The event provided an opportunity to discuss critical operational insights and explore a path forward that supports small business growth while upholding consumer protection.

Leadership Council San Mateo County’s Emerging Leaders and Corps' Learning Day
SAMCEDA’s President and CEO, Rosanne, served as one of the speakers at Leadership Council San Mateo County’s Learning Day events for the Emerging Leaders and Leadership CORPS programs.
