Chamber San Mateo County’s 128th Annual Awards & Recognition Luncheon
Each year, Chamber San Mateo County recognizes individuals and organizations who have made a positive impact.
The community came together at Domenico Winery in San Carlos to celebrate the Chamber’s 128th Annual Awards & Recognition Luncheon:
- Cornerstone Award - Bill Graham
- Woman of the Year - Diana Bautista
- Tom Mohr “Champion of Education” Award - Nancy Magee
- Impactful Non-Profit Organization - Second Harvest of Silicon Valley

Commission on the Status of Women’s Listen & Learn - District 5
The County of San Mateo’s Commission on the Status of Women hosted its second Listen & Learn event at the Jefferson Union High School District in Daly City.
As the second in a series scheduled throughout all San Mateo County districts, the event invites community members to share their insights on women’s economic stability and access to childcare.

Connect Bay Area’s Fundraiser Event
Business and transit leaders gathered at the Bay Area Council's headquarters on the importance of saving transit through the Connect Bay Area ballot measure, SB 63, a regional transit funding measure.

SamTrans’ SB 63 Local Investment Plan Stakeholder Advisory Group Meeting
SamTrans held its first meeting of the SB 63 Local Investment Plan Stakeholder Advisory Group. Attendees assisted SamTrans in developing a plan for potentially up to $50M annually in new public transportation funding.

San Francisco Business Times’ Mentoring Monday Event
Every fourth Monday in February, women throughout the nation participate in Business Journal’s Mentoring Monday event. This speed-mentoring event offers busy professionals the chance to meet distinguished business leaders, receive career advice and guidance, and build valuable connections.
In San Francisco, the San Francisco Business Times (SFBT) held their Mentoring Monday event at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco. Mentees met with mentors from a diverse array of industries, gaining insights and guidance from experienced professionals including SAMCEDA’s Rosanne Foust.


Silicon Valley Joint Venture's 2026 State of the Valley
Each year, Joint Venture Silicon Valley hosts the State of the Valley event to present its research on Silicon Valley’s challenges and opportunities.
The 2026 State of the Valley event took place at San José State University’s Diaz Compean Student Union in San José, bringing together elected officials and industry leaders where Joint Venture Silicon Valley’s President & CEO presents the latest statistics and insights from the 2026 Silicon Valley Index.


Chamber San Mateo County’s Leadership’s Business & Economic Development Day
SAMCEDA’s President and CEO, Rosanne Foust, served as Chamber San Mateo County’s Business & Economic Development Day Chair for their 2025 - 2026 Leadership Program at Stanford University | Redwood City in Redwood City.
She delivered opening remarks by introducing the significance of economic development.

Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco President Mary C. Daly delivered the keynote remarks on AI and the U.S. economy at Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) and San José State University’s AI and the Economy event at San José State University in San José.

The San Francisco Peninsula and Cal Travel Association hosted an exclusive and memorable evening, featuring a distinguished dinner and an in-depth, behind-the-scenes airport tour at SFO.

Verizon’s Command Center Tour
In preparation for this year's Super Bowl LX and FIFA World Cup in the Bay Area, Verizon hosted business leaders and elected officials and their team to a behind-the-scenes tour of its Command Center in San Jose.
This facility is the primary hub for Verizon’s regional network event operations. As the events approach, this location will be staffed around the clock to monitor performance and coordinate rapid-response teams for any interruptions across the Bay Area.





Verizon’s Super Bowl LX Community Day & Open House @ Verizon Innovation Lab
Community leaders were invited to a unique opportunity to meet Verizon staff from across the business and learn more about the planning behind Super Bowl week at Verizon’s Innovation Lab in San Francisco.
Attendees experienced live demos and learn how their teams invested / prepared for Super Bowl 60 through their innovative technology and products.
