Dr. Charles Lim

Dr. Charles Lim is the Physician-in-Chief at Kaiser Permanente Redwood City Medical Center and serves as a Board Director for The Permanente Medical Group. Since joining KP Redwood City in 2002 as an attending orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lim has focused his clinical practice on joint replacement surgery.

Born in Myanmar (formerly Burma) and raised near Boston, Dr. Lim attended Harvard College and earned his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School.

Dr. Lim and his family reside in Menlo Park, where they enjoy the cultural diversity, beautiful weather, and entrepreneurial spirit of the San Francisco Bay Area.
