AI Implications for Workforce Development and Economic Mobility

SAMCEDA was honored to join a recent convening at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. 

"On September 19, the EmergingTech Economic Research Network (EERN) held an event focused on the evolving intersection of AI, workforce development, and economic mobility.

EERN has been dedicated to understanding perspectives on AI’s impact on the labor market. This event, titled 'AI Implications for Workforce Development and Economic Mobility,' delved deeper into these trends, including their implications for low- and moderate-income workers."

The day’s program included:

  • Panel Discussion: How are workers, workforce development leaders, and employers anticipating changes and adapting their practices?
  • Fireside Chat: Mary C. Daly, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco
