Description: Founded in 1953 as the San Mateo County Development Association (the word “economic” did not become a part of our name until the 1960s), SAMCEDA invites you to join us for our Annual Meeting featuring “THRED Talks" - Weaving San Mateo County Together and our 70th anniversary celebration!
About "THRED Talks:" It was in 2016 that SAMCEDA launched “THRED Talks” - Weaving San Mateo County to highlight the depth and breadth communities face in identifying opportunities and meeting the challenges that come with change.“THRED Talks" is a showcase to weave our region together. “THRED” stands for many things including: Transportation, Housing, Healthcare, Resiliency, Renewal, Recovery, Regionalism, Economy, Equity, Environment, Determination, Development, and so much more.
