Stanford University Provides $500,000 Contribution to Support Belmont Community Projects

"At the City Council meeting last night, the City of Belmont announced that Stanford University has provided a $500,000 contribution to support the revitalization of the Barrett Community Center and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects that enhance community connectivity and quality of life.

Stanford University made the contribution in recognition of the strong partnership and relationships developed with the City over the course of its efforts to entitle and purchase the former NDNU campus property. While the outcome of that process was not as originally envisioned, Stanford expressed appreciation for the collaboration with City leaders, staff, and residents."
