As a result of our success with Virgin America, we have created a Ready Economic Development (RED) Team which is ready to respond whenever we learn of a company that is considering relocation or is looking for a new corporate home.Our relationship with Governor Schwarzenegger and his economic development staff at CalBIS has already resulted in us being asked to assist in attracting a number of additional companies to the area.

Our going forward initiatives include:
bullet Continue and expand our strong political relationships with the Governor and his economic development team.

bullet Continue our series of meetings with our State Senate and Assembly members.

bullet Continue and expand state and local legislative and political advocacy.
bullet A newly created team of local City and business leaders working to attract and retain businesses on the Peninsula.
