Standing – meetings ongoing, Membership year begins July 1, ending June 30. Membership and fiscal year coincide.  The Membership Committee is responsible for monitoring the recruitment and retention of SAMCEDA members. They also reach out on a personal and professional level to invite new members to be part of the SAMCEDA Association.

The membership committee deals with the following issues:

• outreach to potential members
• member benefits
• recommends investment schedule for BOD approval
• membership activities, e.g., new member events, all member events
• communications to and between  members leading to positive relationships

The Membership Committee helps shape the profile of the membership by use of branding, public relations, and definition of the categories of membership.
