Standing Committee – meets beginning in early May for Nominations for the Election of Officers and the Annual Meeting. This Committee nominates candidates, selects Slate of Officers, and oversees election with assistance of Staff. Secretary validates election results according to the Bylaws. This Committee acts in the interest of building a progression to leadership of SAMCEDA so as to contribute to the ongoing strength and development of the Association. The Committee tasks also include recognizing exemplary service to the Board of Directors during and at the completion of Officer terms of office. Participation in this committee generally concludes after the Annual Meeting.
