Ingrid Rosten, Executive Director of CleanStart, speaking on fostering Clean Energy Technology (CET). Ms. Rosten will share insights on how a region can develop into a CET center.  She will share her successes at CleanStart, an initiative designed to accelerate the development of clean energy technology ventures within the Greater Sacramento Region. Learn about the project that attracted funding for start-ups and their products.

Rosten was co-founder and Managing Director of the International Business Incubator in San Jose supporting 30 technology firms. Her efforts were instrumental in attracting over 600 international companies opening new businesses in California.

Dan Lankford, Managing Director, Wavepoint Ventures, Menlo Park will also join the program.  Wavepoint invests in capital-efficient seed and early stage companies in the medical, information, and clean technology sectors, helping bring unique innovations to market.

Election results for SAMCEDA’s 2007-08 Board of Directors and Officers will also be announced.
